I've been listening to Nirvana's three disc box set, "With the Lights Out," which is a bunch of demos, covers, and unreleased tracks. For the life of me, I can't figure out how a lot of these songs never got released; they're awesome. Here's "Blandest": "White Lace and Strange" (this has one of the catchiest riffs I've ever heard. It's a Thunder and Roses cover)
For Irish Day, an Irish band. The camera work in this video still confounds me to this day on how they pulled it off. Pure genius.
The weather has been so gaddamned nice lately, I'm going to play the Canadian national anthem (well, it SHOULD be). Play it loud, play it proud:
Thanks to the recent post in the Allstar Youtube Thread, I've discovered Dub FX, and will be listening to it at work pretty much all morning. I'm not usually wild about electronica/drum and bass/whatever, or a capella, but this music is pretty good stuff. Be forewarned, though...he's got a Rage Against the Machine political vibe. http://dubfx.bandcamp.com/ J
This song is also titled 'Don't Talk to Strangers,' it may have less cleavage than the video you posted, but nonetheless it's still awesome. Dio himself;
Hands down best version of this song. This song was written in 1958 and is also my namesake. If there was punk music back in the 50s this would have been it.
Love the last bit. I think I want this DVD now. Damnit. I need to join a group to deal with the shame.
Watch in 480p for improved audio. This is one of my favorite songs, it's like metal-dance or something. It's a live concert but the style is like a music video, it's awesome.
