Just got this in the mail. Really good album.

Durutti Column -- A Paean To Wilson

A clip of them playing a concert in tribute to Tony Wilson

Sleigh Bells: This band is from New York...Heard about them a few months ago and thought they were great. They had a fantastic showing at SXSW and now they're making an album under M.I.A.'s record label. Seems like they're doing pretty well for themselves.

    "Crown on the Ground"

    "A/B Machine"

According to their interview, the album is going to tidy up the vocals a bit and remove some of the distortion (especially from Crown on the Ground). I really love these guys and am really looking forward to their album.

I found these guys through a friend, they have a folkish vibe but definitely have a lot of emotion in their music.

I'm not that sensitive...don't judge me.

You couldn't be MORE wrong, unless you're a bone-smoking tree-hugging chick from Kitchener.

THIS is the Canadian National Anthem. What the fuck is wrong with kids these days?

Fun fact: Kim Mitchell played my high school grad when he was the front man for Max Webster.

Gotta love the Canadian power-trios from the 80's

And the song that made me want to play in a band.
