A friend introduced me to Lucero, I love every one of their songs I've listened to but this one has been stuck in my head since the first time I heard it.
I'll probably catch shit for posting this because 'Grey's Anatomy' hijacked the tracks, but fuck it, I'm in love with her voice. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go eat dead animals and think about war or monster trucks or something.
Coheed and Cambria has a new cd. This is an acoustic version of the song Here We are Juggernaut. The song starts about a minute and ten seconds in.
The beat here is absolutely HAUNTING I mean this is no Reasonable Doubt, but Blueprint 2 is easily underrated compared to his other work like Black Album Even if you don't like rap or hiphop, just listen to the first 30 seconds, not even Jay-Z's bars, and tell me that isn't one heck of a beat.
The beat is from Ennio Morricone's "The Ecstasy of Gold," which was featured in The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. If there's a killer song in an Italian-directed western movie, chances are it's Morricone's work. Metallica must think it's pretty badass too...
