Anyone remember Days of the New? This is the meth addled singer. Such a waste. He's like Mozart or Beethoven to me. Someone who can literally see music in ways most people cannot fathom. The song is very ironic/cryptic considering his drug use. He had his own episode of Intervention. Days of the New IV album should be out soon.
They came over to Aus for the Big Day Out when I was still at school and one of my mates had the cd for that year. Heard this song then had it on repeat for the whole day, still love it.
Band of Horses - The Funeral. Followed by John Butler Trio - Caroline. Sorta been in a calming, very talented guitarist kinda mood lately. Edit: For the John Butler tune I was talking about, you need to select track four. Really, the whole album is good, but...
Oh, and also most of The Police. Their early shit is truly great, and it's no wonder they won Grammys for such songs as Reggatta de Blanc, Don't Stand So Close To Me, and Behind My Camel.
I listened to Primus (Singles) on my way into work today. My car has two amps mounted behind the backseats. I was rockin'.
