Heard this song on the radio a few days ago and I've been listening to it since. Yes, it's a "sappy country song," but after me and my family having to deal with my medical hell a few years ago, it kind of brings a tear to my eye. I challenge you to listen to this and not get choked up at least a little. Awesome song.
It's not Christmastime, but my family just suffered a loss (family dog of 13 years) and this song has been solace.
I saw this the other night. I haven't heard anything by the new Sublime so I was curious... and skeptical. I think I really like it. I like the song and this Rome guy actually sounds pretty good and his sloppy guitar playing fits pretty well with what Bradley's was like. BUT in the back of my mind I can't shake the fact that he looks like a chubby, gay hipster... so I'm a little torn. Like it or not, this is the new Sublime.
Some how I think Jackyl got lumped in with the hair metal bands they toured with, and ended up one of the most over looked rock band of the early 90s. I fuckin' love these guys though. THEY DON'T TEACH CHAINSAW AT JUILLIARD!!!
