Went to see Sean Hayes do a solo acoustic show last week and was completely blown away. Amazing, amazing, amazing talent. Here's his site, where you can listen to all his songs for free. I recommend tracks one (When We Fall In) and four (Powerful Stuff) for starters.

My girlfriend loaned me the CD while she's on vacation, and I've had it on repeat since. That's closing in on two weeks now. Can't stop listening to his voice. Incredible.

Someone pointed out that it wasn't so obvious how to actually listen to the songs. So here's a quick explanation.

Click the title of the song you want to listen to. A box will pop up with the lyrics to that song. In the top right corner of the box, after a moment, you will see "rewind" "stop" "play" and "fast forward" buttons appear. Click play. Boom. Beautiful music in ya ear!

If you have Firefox, you can "flash got" the whole album after clicking play on each song once.

My science teacher and me would always talk about punk music before the bell would ring. Second to last day he gave me this album and he officially became my favorite teacher.
Band is called Titus Andonicus and there A New Jersey punk band that play songs of Springsteen-like length.

Saw these guys as a support act last week, and they blew the roof off the place (well, actually, the floor - the concrete was reverberating). Their music's nothing new or innovative, but it's catchy and done well.

Every once and a while, I find a band I become completely obsessed with. This is one of them. As a rule, I've ALWAYS hated bands that were signed to Metal Blade, with the exception of GWAR, cause they put on a hell of a show. Now there are two exceptions to that rule, Austrian Death Machine, sweet baby Jesus, these guys kill it. They're not the greatest band by any means, and Arnocorps has done this whole shtick before, but holy hell they are awesome. All their songs are Schwarzenegger lines. So awesome.
