Coming from a friend's recommendation after raving about all the acts at Pitchfork in Chicago. This has been stuck in my head for a while.
I am moody tonight and this song is destroying me. Accckkkkk. Portuguese duet of Damien Rice's, The Blowers Daughter
Keeping in the Soundwave theme of things a few of the headliners for you. Enjoy.
Thunderbrew from Delaware. Good old beer metal. They tour along the coast, pretty far south. I suggest catching a show if you can. They're ridiculously talented musicians and all around good shits.
I absolutely love Rise Against. I have all of their CD's and rarely skip a song. If you haven't heard them before I suggest you give the following a listen. I get to see them live in September. I can't wait.
Decent song and a fuckin' weird video featuring Kristen Bell and what looks like the brain from the ninja turtles.
For those who like folk/acoustic music, if you've never heard Mumford and Sons, you are seriously missing out. Their album, Sign No more is one of the best albums I've ever heard.
I'll throw this in here with one caveat: It's a white guy spittin' verses (pretty well in my opinion) and he seems to be able to capture emotions really well (check out his other stuff and you'll know what I mean). In any case, this is what I'm listening to....ENJOY!....or don't.
