My buddy just got back from London and said this is huge over there. I suggested it to the local dance bar here at my small college and a lot of people like it. That and look up Chiddy Bang and download the album - pretty sick.
This song just puts me in a good mood. It's a collaboration by Kid Cudi, Rostam Batmanglij (vampire Weekend) & Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast).

Built up a fire in the den, have had a few or more drinks, feeling no pain. Dug out the 12-string to fuck around a bit, and then dug up some old Leo Kottke tunes. In case you've never heard of him, he's been dicking around a bit on the guitar for 40+ years, and is one of the most entertaining musicians you'll ever see in concert. No shit. If you ever have any desire to play the 12-string, he'll make you cry, or inspire the crap out of you. Or both. How ANYONE can pick a 12-string like that is beyond me.
Only song I've ever heard that had yodelling in it. An all time classic that we used to warm up our practice sessions with. This was one of our other go-to warm up songs:
Whenever my car stereo makes it to my Lucero cd, they're all I want to listen to for at least a week. This one makes me sad because it reminds me of someone...for reasons other than the lyrics but they reiterate it for sure. It might be my favorite Lucero song.
