I realize it's old, but it gets me every time. These boys put on an amazing show. Couple of years back at Warped Tour Keith told me to "quit fucking lying" to him. Just a solid band.
Chick Corea: The Great Pumpkin Waltz I was making my winter raviolis today (with pumpkin) today and decided that this was the perfect song to put on repeat while rolling the pasta dough.
Thanks to the old TIB and digitaldreamdoor.com I finally got turned onto Tom Waits. The dudes amazing and Rain Dogs is slowly becoming my favorite album. Sounds like Feddy Krueger with insomia. Brother turned me on to him at Christmas. Very ill rapper. My favorite song during the old Ka-Blam! days.
Another throwback to the old rolling days. Something I can still enjoy so much. I give you Boombox I saw these guys more than a handful of times between 2005 and 2007, and yes, I was absolutely out of my mind everytime. I don't think there's ever been a more fun band to dance to. Period.
One of my favorite guitar riffs ever, from one of my favorite songs ever, from one of my favorite albums ever, etc... Video of Jimi and the band walking around doing weird stuff...I dunno.
I put this in the Music thread. It probably belongs here instead. Even if you don't like it, it'll get stuck in your head.
I listened to this song about 1000 times in a row when it came out and it's still one of my favourite songs of all time, an amazing one at that. Couldn't find the studio version, but this acoustic live one's equally as good:
Since Soundgarden is back, I've decided to listen to my oldLouder Than Love album I got 2 years ago. Killer music to listen to if you like the band. Crank it. [youtube][http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdfOW6l8izU/youtube] (the day I got this cd, I played it so loud I almost didn't hear my dad having a heart attack. This music always creeps in a reminder.)
I'm also ecstatic about Soundgarden reuniting. To anyone who listened to rock music in the 90's, this is like the second coming of Christ. They've been blaring in my house all day. To all of you youngsters on here, this is what real music sounds like:
Instead of posting stuff that we all know and love I thought I'd share a Kiwi band that not many of my mates know of and I have no idea how well they have done overseas. The Datsuns are unreal and are even better live.
