I'm sure most of you have heard this song but it's one of my favourites:

A real epic and haunting ballad. My favourite bit:
When suppertime came the old cook came on deck sayin'
"Fellas, it's too rough t'feed ya"
At seven P.M. a main hatchway caved in; he said,
"Fellas, it's bin good t'know ya!"

I really like listening to sea ballads. Plato once said there are three kinds of men, the living, the dead and sailors.

This is another favorite of mine too, an Irish number this time about a man who's friends all drowned on a fishing boat.

    Coming out swinging.

I never really got into Van Halen or bands somewhat similar, wasn't my style. Just realised how awesome this song is now, a little late I know, but like I said it's normally not my style (or so I thought).

He may be a creepy-looking midget, but the man makes slick music to no end.

The Beastie Boys have released a track from their upcoming album.

Not bad by present standards, but I'd say they've left themselves some pretty big shoes to fill.

For some reason this song is like pure sex to me, even with the la la la la la. Even after a couple of months, I keep coming back to it.

You have your guilty pleasure music, I have mine. At least mine has a guitar solo.

Heard of this band from the credits of the cooking show Chuck's Day Off. Kind of indie, I guess.

A white rapper other than Mr. Mathers? I think so. This guy isn't half bad either.
