Had a buddy I do crossfit with break up with his girl today, so I played this one for him on Spotify. Not sure if it made him feel any better but he sure seemed to move with a purpose today through the workout.

One thing I do know, all evening I have been in a Mosh n' Roll death spiral since.

Why can't the majority of today's hip-hop be even one tenth this awesome?

First live show in 22 years and they still have it. Too bad Chris doesn't play anymore and Slim is in the hospital. Still fucking impressed.

I'm late to the party by a decade or so here, but man I'm loving Katchafire at the moment. Top notch reggae, mixed in with some really interesting cross genre stuff - huge jazzy saxophones and trumpets, haunting blues harmonica, classic rock lead breaks, and probably other influences that I don't have the background to identify. Big Bob Marley overtones, generally uplifting lyrics, just all around good stuff. If you're into reggae at all, give them a listen!
