My translation: If you are playing with someone who is too drunk/just sucks, and they knock in the 8-ball before the game is over, you have the option of either putting one of your balls into a pocket and out of play, or removing one of their balls and putting it on the table and back in play. If that's an accurate translation, that's a real shitty rule. Half the challenge in playing pool games like that is in avoiding the 8-ball. If someone sucks/is too drunk, then they better be prepared to either get better, or get more drunk.
I have played 8-ball by many different sets of rules and the official rules are by far the best. I don't really understand why there are so many house rules for that game that just make it worse or easier to exploit.
