Wait, Ballsack, are you serious? A black guy? In the Express lane? What's next, a filipino who doesn't much care for salmon!?
Pfft. A black guy paying for things. You know what they say about white privilege. You can pay by cash or credit and nobody assumes a thing. If you're black and you pay by cash, you're a drug dealer; if you pay by credit, you're just running up debt.
Wow, my cousin was writing on facebook about how one of her friends died. Then I read about it on ESPN. Just weird all around.
Damn, Dallas just fucked up. That was impressive. I have actually never seen a punt get blocked before. How often does that happen?
It kinda took a while for me to realize it was the same person, also, because my cousin's facebook is usually borderline unintelligible. Like this one:
For the first time ever, I tasted a vodka this weekend that I actually liked. It was at a Hy-Vee in Lincoln too, just after noon. The owner of Cooper's Chase distillery was there sampling his stuff and it is the smoothest booze I've ever drank. Only $16 a liter too. That meant I had two beers and a shot (the fella gave me a brimming full shot as I was on my way out) before getting to the tailgating before the Huskers game I went to on Saturday. It was fucking awesome. It makes me realize just how much having a perennially shitty football team like Minnesota blows. This was the second game I've been to in Nebraska and it makes me wonder if I'm glad my girlfriend is back in Lincoln this year for the sake of the football games. There was an air show at the airport and we were lucky enough to get one hell of a show before the game. The Blue Angels were fucking nuts. I've been much closer to jets on my grandparent's farm in Illinois but have never witnessed them this close doing crazy shit. Amazingly the photos came from my phone and me with half a case of Busch Light down.
Disappointed that more hot cheerleaders weren't posted (or posting) in this thread this weekend, what with football kicking off this weekend and all. Also, wassup, biznitches?
Waiting for Mets or Cubs to score a run - this could be a while. Flipping over to "world's smallest man" on TLC. Odd juxtaposition.
My dad still uses checks all the time, but be easy on him, he just turned 77 today. Yes, my dad was born on September 11th, back when it was just another day. Coincidentally, my mom's birthday also fell on the same date as a disaster; more specifically, a disaster occured on her birthday: On September 21, 1989, The Mission Bus Accident happened, and because local newspapers and radio/TV stations bombarded everyone in the area with memorials, she felt that it cast a pall on her birthday (oh, and I should mention that she was a highschool teacher for 28 years and was all about the kids).
Jesus, this place got dead fast. I'll leave y'all with some good tunes before I leave: That's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. It's a real mood neutralizer for me. When I'm feeling sad or mad, I feel calm after hearing it a few times.
