This is something of an interesting topic for me since I love watches but don't have any and don't wear one on the regular. So whenever I'm in a shopping mall or jewelry store, I always navigate to the watch section to try a few different styles on and see which weight and face size will work for me. I then look at the price tag, make a mental note and then never revisit the topic again. The thing is, I can afford the two or three grand it would take to get me what I want, but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger and always talk myself out of spending the cash. I don't however have the same issues with impulse spending on other items - new dash design on the S4, sign me up - new weed strain that costs more than it should, I'll take an ounce. I also have a handful of friends who are really into watches and I would be concerned that mine didn't stack up. Yes, I know its shallow and dumb.

The Apple watch? What am I 5? Fuck that noise. Unless its a TAG Heuer, Breitling, IWC or Omega I ain't interested.

I wear a watch all the time, even when I am asleep if I don't have it on I feel like I am missing something. Most of my watches last about a year because I bang them against stuff and break the crystal or the crown comes loose and the watch fills up with seawater. I don't spend more than 150 on a watch and have been buying the Invicta brand watches from Sams Club (you can get them anywhere)

Normal, day-to-day, 99.999% of the time, my iPhone is my watch.

When I get dressed up to go out, I have a nice titanium Citizen Eco-Drive watch that I wear, basically as an accessory.

When I go hunting/camping/fishing/outdoors, I wear an old Timex Indiglo Expedition, mostly for the ability to read the time at night and a couple of alarms. The compass and stuff is more gimmick than anything that I seriously use.

This is my watch 100% of the time. I don't have any other watches because I beat the shit out of them. No, I don't need or use all the things this watch does, but I do enjoy that it sets itself to the atomic clocks and is solar powered and the charge lasts for months. If I notice the battery indicator drop below full, I leave it on my porch for a few hours and I'm good for months again.

The only watch I have is a cheap Timex digital that gets used on hunting trips, for checking shooting hours in the dark. Otherwise my phone has pretty much replaced any watches. Not a big deal to me.

I was mental for watches when I was a kid. At least once a year I would beg my parents for a new watch for a Christmas/birthday present. Timex was my bread and butter... anything like this:
    Dat indiglo.

Now I hate wearing watches. Absolutely can't stand how they feel. I might get a nice-ish one some day to wear to formal events, but that's it.

I am very curious to see how the Apple Watch does. I'm no Apple fanboy, but I do like their stuff and have had nothing but good experiences with the company. I am exactly 0% interested in this particular product, but I remember saying that when ipads came out too, and now I really want one...

I wear a watch every day. Much like Dewerks if I don't have it on I feel like something is missing. I somewhat collect watches, and right now I have four. Three are Tags and I have one Breitling.

This is the one I lust after though.

I used to wear a watch every day. I timex ironman, it was great I would catch it on shelves all the time never broke, never stopped working, it was so old that I couldn't read any of the buttons on what they did. Then I get a cell, way later then most people, first cell was 5-6 years ago(25/26) and figured if I am out and need to know the time, why do I need a watch, I have my cell.

But that timex ironman would recommend it to anyone that works with there hands for a living and bashes there watch all the time.

I have four watches and a handful of bracelets. None of them receive regular wear. They annoy me, I clank things with them, and they get caught in my hair. I might wear a FitBit if I got one. But probably not. Bleh.

Im not super into watches but will wear one constantly if I have one. Ive had two, one a Watch Station employee sold me for 20 bucks off the back of a truck and a pretty damn good fake Rolex my brother gave me in China. Im sure Rolex snobs would cry bloody murder but it has been solid as fuck for a fake. I feel the Submariner just has an absolute classic look that really can't be beat. I'd probably get a real one if I ever was doing well enough to splurge on it.

It is more of an fashion piece than practical for simple time keeping. I'll put it on the bottom of my wrist when hunting since my left hand will be holding my cross bow facing the watch up. It's easier to read without moving and I feel like Im in a Jason Stathem SWAT movie.

I wear a watch because they are functional and stylish. I have a small collection. My daily carry watch is a G-Shock Solar because it is built like a tank. The middle watch is an automatic winding watch made by Bulova. I wear it with most of my suits or when I go out. This watch will be handed down to my son. The third is a pocket watch I got as a birthday gift which I wear with my three piece pin stripe suit to finish the classic gentleman look.

Personally I won't be getting the Apple watch because it looks stupid and I have no use for it. I do see it selling well though.

I don't really wear watches, but if I were crazy rich I would definitely buy this watch:

It tracks all the movements of the planets right on your wrist. For a space nerd, that is amazing.

Considering im always checking my phone for the time, it makes sense that they design a watch that I can use to call people with.

I feel naked if I forget my watch. Currently, I wear one of these depending on what I'm doing

In the office, or out and about in town I have a Citizen Eco-Drive Skyhawk A-T

I used to wear a beautiful Omega until it went missing somewhere in my house. Either I dropped it in a box I was returning (likely), or my little sister stole it to pawn for weed money (unlikely, I don't think she knows how pawn shops work).

Watches have always been something my mom and I shared. We aren't jewelry girls, but we are suckers for a fine watch. They have got all the things we love: simplicity, nostalgia, elegance and utility. After I lost my other one, she gifted me with a silver Cartier watch, nothing showy at all but perfectly her's and my style. I would be devastated if I ever lost it. I meticulously take it off before I go drinking, because one time I got so drunk I thought I lost it, but really I had put it under my pillow when I went to bed, probably saying to myself, "LOOK YOU DIDN'T LOSE IT," and then spent a week being sad that I had.

Anyway. I like watches. I don't trust people who don't wear them. It is also way easier to surreptitiously check the time that people are wasting on a watch than to pull out your phone.

My dad had one of those, in the days before a cell phone in every pocket. It's probably still around here somewhere.

I have thin girly wrists so the really bulky watches are out. I've just been using my phone since high school, but I'll probably have to pick up a nice-ish watch in the future.

I wear a watch daily, but I neither collect nor particularly fetishize them. I just like having a device on my wrist to tell the time. I asked my wife for one for Christmas, specifying that it needed to be analog, have indiglo, and be cheap since I am notoriously rough on watches. I have a nice simple watch with a leather strap. It's also useful for larping where you can't really pull out a cell phone.

I usually am rocking one of these...slightly different option than the straight digital look, but it's still a G-Shock so I'm able to beat the hell out of it. Don't ask me how to change the time zone on it though...like trying to fire up the space shuttle. I guess I'm just not that smart.
